This policy explains what personal data TeachersDNA collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number and class.
- Sign-in with Google: your name, email and profile picture from Google. We never see your Google password.
- Orders: what you bought, the amount and the order ID. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Study activity: chapters opened, tests taken and scores, so we can show your progress.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, used for security and to keep the site working.
Why we use it
- To create your account and give you access to what you bought.
- To print your name and order ID on chapters you print or save, so the copy is personal to you.
- To send order confirmations, invoices and important account messages.
- To send study tips or offers, only if you agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To prevent fraud, misuse and sharing of paid material.
Students and parents
Many of our students are school students. Inside student accounts we show no outside (third-party) ads, only occasional notices about our own courses and offers, and we do not track students for advertising. A student, or their parent or guardian, can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the student’s data.
Who we share it with
We never sell personal data. We share only what is needed with service providers who work for us: Razorpay (payments), Google (sign-in), our hosting company hostinger, and our email service Google. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and your light or dark mode choice, and understand how the site is used. Free pages may show Google ads, which use their own cookies; you can manage these in your Google ad settings.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise the rest within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent for marketing, by writing to sidsidhusandy@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
